Welcome to Chez Madeleine Bed & Breakfast, located on the border of Lauzun, 10 minutes from Eymet and 30 minutes from Bergerac Airport, ideally situated for your visit to the area, its chateaux, vineyards, medieval towns and villages.

The property is a former bakery, over 120 years old. We have two rooms: Our 'Double Room' sleeps two, and our 'Family Suite' sleeps 4 people. Both have generous en suites and a private entrance.

Each room has an attractive balcony to catch the sun, and access to the shared guest lounge, kitchen and dining area.

Breakfast is lovely at Chez Madeleine. We offer continental breakfast in our dining area at a tim of your choosing. There are fresh eggs from our chickens. We can work to your dietary requirements if advised in advance.

On the warmest mornings you are welcome to have breakfast outside.

If you wish to do a little self catering, the kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, microwave and kettle.

We have a charming garden with a swimming pool at Chez Madeleine. The pool is 8m x 4m and has loungers and parasols. It catches the sun all day.

There are tables and chairs for relaxing outside.

Our chickens live at the side of the garden. They are friendly and social.

We are local to Lauzun, Eymet and Castillones. Each are pretty and popular. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. 

​

Bergerac is our nearest large town. It has a beautiful medieval old town, plus the advantage of an international airport.

​

Eymet has the most extensive range of restaurants. It is very popular in the summer with night markets, music and other events most evenings.
